I’ve seen cosplayers do LEGO accurate cosplay as well as awesome green Army men cosplay in the past. Has anyone attempted GI Joe figure accurate cosplay where they either 3D printed or used plastic of some sort to replicate the head, body, etc of a character? I would think you could get a soft part outfit and completely cover it with Velcro. Then either 3-D print the parts or make them by hand out of craft foam or plastic. The whole thing could be covered in Plastidip and painted shinny once the correct colors were added. The head could be made in 2 pieces held together with Earth magnets. Even the back could have the classic hole made for backpacks. Just a thought I was having.

This is a great idea. I’ve seen folks do star wars with big vinyl capes and simple accessories. I think a straight arm design would be cool to attempt.

It would be something cool to do at a Retro or Toy convention, especially if there were several main characters together.
I’ve seen people do this- even with plastic looking hair. It’s pretty sweet.
